Members
Manage team members from Settings > Members. Here you invite new members, assign roles, and remove members who no longer need access.
Viewing Members
The Members page lists all current members of your organization, their email address, role, and join date.
Inviting Members
- Go to Settings > Members.
- Click Invite Member.
- Enter the email address and select a role (Admin or Member).
- Click Send Invite.
The invitee receives an email invitation. Once they accept, they become an active member of your organization and your subscription's seat count updates automatically.
Cost preview: Before sending an invite, the dashboard shows you the cost impact: "Adding a member will add $X/mo to your bill, prorated for the remaining billing period." This reflects the seat-based pricing model — each new member adds one seat to your subscription.
Member Limits by Plan
| Plan | Max Members |
|---|---|
| Free | 3 |
| Team | 100 |
| Team Plus | 100 |
| Enterprise | Unlimited |
When your organization reaches its seat limit:
- Free plan — An alert prompts you to upgrade. Click the link to go to Settings > Billing and choose a paid plan.
- Team or Team Plus at 100 seats — An alert directs you to contact contact@raison.ist for an Enterprise arrangement. The 100-seat cap is a hard limit on Team and Team Plus; exceeding it requires Enterprise.
Member Roles
| Role | Permissions |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full access. Manage billing, invite/remove members, delete the organization. One owner per organization. |
| Admin | Manage projects, agents, prompts, API keys, and members. Cannot manage billing or delete the organization. |
| Member | View and edit prompts and agents in projects they have access to. Cannot manage members or billing. |
Changing a Member's Role
- Go to Settings > Members.
- Find the member in the list.
- Click the role dropdown next to their name.
- Select the new role.
Role changes take effect immediately.
Removing a Member
- Go to Settings > Members.
- Find the member in the list.
- Click the Remove button (or the overflow menu → Remove from organization).
- Confirm the removal.
When a member is removed, your subscription's seat count decreases by one immediately. Polar issues a prorated credit for the unused portion of the current billing period.
Removed members lose access to the organization immediately. Their prompts, agents, and projects remain — only their ability to access the dashboard is revoked.
Leaving an Organization
If you are not the owner, you can leave an organization from your account settings. Leaving reduces the seat count and triggers a prorated credit.
The organization owner cannot leave — ownership must be transferred first (contact contact@raison.ist if you need to transfer ownership).
